Consulate revised 0308.png

An abbreviated version of Pacific Destiny was presented at the Chinese Consulate General’s gala 40th anniversary reception in New York City. Jill Gabbe, shown above with Shen Xi, Vice Consul, represented CITIZENARTS.

The documentary’s first full presentation was held at the China Institute in New York, followed by its first university forum and presentations in partnership with the Asia Society in Houston, TX and the Chinese-American Planning Council in New York City.

On April 15, 2020, Pacific Destiny will have its Boston area premiere at the Modern Theatre at an event sponsored by Suffolk University, Rosenberg Institute for East Asian Studies, Chinese Historical Society of New England, Ford Hall Forum and WorldBoston. This screening and discussion is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Reservations are strongly encouraged by emailing jeff.lewis@citizenartscreative.org.

Scheduling is underway for additional Pacific Destiny forums throughout the US and in China in 2020 – please keep an eye on our social media for details. And don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like to discuss bringing a forum built around Pacific Destiny to your school or organization!
